“It’s been great to get back to sketching after working on my Exhibition work. It’s really exciting to be able to study what is immediately around you and where better to start than studying the hand. I love the colour palette when looking at the skin tone especially against a cool background.
It’s relaxing to be able to concentrate on skin tone without having to worry about the more complicated aspect of the portrait-like painting a wall without windows.”
